Dr Martens Company was founded in a small town near to Munich in 1945, Dr Klaus Martens was skiing in the Bavarian Alps when he injured his foot, he decided to design and create a shoe that would help him walk easier and with more comfort. By 1959 Martens decided to make a company based on the events of the shoe that he created himself. Now the company is well known by alot of proud customers and others around the globe.
